POLICE BLOTTER

All residents are urged to lock the doors to their vehicles and DO NOT leave keys and key fobs in their vehicles.  The township is experiencing periodic motor vehicle thefts where the owners are leaving the key fobs locked in their vehicles.  Auto thieves use a sophisticated device which informs them the fob is present in the car and they can easily take the vehicle.  

15MN22361-Shoplifting

 On Sunday, August 16, 2015 at approximately 3:15pm, an employee of CVS  Woodward Road reported a shoplifting incident.  The employee related that an unknown white female approximately 30 years old concealed unknown items in a bag and left the store without paying for them.  The female left the area in a dark colored sedan occupied by two unknown white males in an unknown direction.  Ptl Jennie Hensley handled the incident which remains under investigation.

15MN22342- Warrant Arrest

 On Sunday, August 16, 2015 at approximately 10:56am, Melissa C. Konya (a 28-year-old white female, waitress who resides in Manalapan) was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on an outstanding traffic warrant issued out of the Manalapan Township in the amount of $500.00.  She posted bail and was released.  The incident is pending court.  Ptl William Dutton was the arresting officer.   

 15MN22239- Warrant Arrest

 On Saturday August 15, 2015, at approximately 9:21am, Ptl. Adam Sosnowski initiated a motor vehicle stop on Ryan Road after witnessing a motor vehicle violation.  The driver, Eric Lemmo, a 30 year old white male Belmar resident, who is employed as a Manager of a Supermarket, was found to have an active traffic warrant out of Belmar in the amount of $114.00.  Lemmo, was arrested, transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after posting bail.  Ptl. Adam Sosnowski handled the arrest.  

 15MN22171-Identity Theft

 On Friday August 14, 2015 at 12:43 pm, an 88 year old white male Manalapan resident, responded to Manalapan Police Department to report Identity Theft.  Unknown actor(s) used his credit card information of the victim and attempted to make fraudulent purchases in Arizona.  The incident is under investigation by Ptl. Jeff Emslie.    

 15MN22168 – Warrant Arrest

 On Friday, August 14, 2015 at approximately 11:30 am, a motor vehicle stop on Wood Avenue in Manalapan, resulted in the arrest of Edward Hanratty, a 45 year old white male employed as a lawyer from Cranbury, NJ, on an outstanding traffic warrant issued out of Manalapan in the amount of $240.00.  Mr. Hanratty posted bail and was released with a motor vehicle summons.  Ptl. William Dutton was the arresting officer. 

 15MN22100 –Criminal Mischief

 On Thursday August 13th, 2015 at approximately 7:30 pm a 45 year old white female Marlboro resident reported that an unknown actor(s) glued her office door lock shut at her business on Rt. 9 South sometime between 4:30 PM on 08/12/2015 and 8:30 AM on 08/13/2015, resulting in $187.00 worth of damage.  Ptl. Matthew Mattia handled the report.

 15MN22093 – Warrant Arrest

 On Thursday August 13, 2015 at approximately 6:20pm, Ptl. Matthew Meyler initiated a motor vehicle stop on US Highway 9. The operator of the vehicle, Raymond J. O’Neill (23 year old white male Matawan resident, who is employed as a contracting superintendant) was found to have two active traffic warrants for his arrest. O’Neill had an active traffic warrant in the amount of $750.00 out of Aberdeen and the other in the amount of $500.00 out of Hazlet. O’Neill was arrested, transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transferred over to the custody of the Aberdeen Police Department.

 15MN22001 – Theft

 On Wednesday August 12, 2015 at 7:07pm an unknown suspect removed a purse from a shopping cart in the Wegmans parking lot while the owner, an 81 year old white female Manalapan resident was placing groceries into her vehicle.  The purse and its contents were valued at $975.00. Ptl. Brian Cruse handled the report.

 15MN21997 – Theft

 On Wednesday August 12th, 2015 at approximately 6:30 pm a 26 year old white male Manalapan resident responded to headquarters to report a theft of five pairs of sneakers valued at $950.00 from his bedroom on Shira Lane at approximately 5:30 pm on this date.  He reported that his brother is the suspect.  Criminal complaint procedures were explained and are pending.

 15MN21988 – Theft

 On Wednesday August 12, 2015 at 4:57pm, the victim (a 53-year-old white male Manalapan resident) reported that a suspect failed to pay back a $40,000.00 loan and failed to pay for $14,500.00 in goods delivered.  This case is pending further investigation.  Criminal Complaint procedures were explained and the victim also advised he is also filing civil complaints against the suspect. Ptl. Brian Cruse took the report.

 15MN21944 – Burglary / Criminal Mischief

 On Wednesday August 12th, 2015 at approximately 10:45am, officers responded to a Craig Road address in reference to a burglary to a residence.  Unknown suspect(s) entered the vacant home through an unsecured rear door and made entry into the home by breaking a window on a door next to the deadbolt lock. The vacant home did not have any contents inside and there was no reported property removed. Ptl. Matthew Meyler handled the incident with assistance from Sgt. Margaret Freeman. Det. Schmidt, Det. Donatelli, and Det. Mikulik all responded to process the scene for evidence. The incident is under further investigation. 

 15MN21888 –Simple Assault/ Terroristic Threats

 On August 11, 2015 at approximately 9:37 pm, Ptl. Christopher Makwinski and Ptl. Adam Sosnowski responded to the Work Out World fitness center for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, patrols met with management and the victims. The victims (a 21-year-old white female, Manalapan resident and a 31-year-old white male Manalapan resident) reported that they were involved in a verbal altercation and the suspect (a 34-year-old white male, Freehold Township resident) threatened and assaulted the male victim. The suspect left the scene prior to patrols arrival. Both parties were uninjured and did not wish to file complaints. 

 15MN21853- Warrant Arrest

 On August 11, 2015 at 1:36 pm, Melissa Lattmann, a 42 year old, white female, currently employed as a receptionist, resident of Manalapan, turned herself in on an outstanding traffic warrant for $500.00 out of Manalapan Township. Melissa posted bail, was processed, and released. Ptl. Mark Casagrande handled the arrest.  

 15MN 21813- Warrant Arrest

 On August 10, 2015 at approximately 11:52 pm, Michael Naranjo, a Hispanic 23 year old male dish washer who resides in Freehold Boro, was arrested on three outstanding warrants.  He was the passenger in a vehicle stopped on Route 9 north for a traffic violation.  The outstanding warrants were out of Union Beach for $1761.00, Eatontown for $1,161.00, and Freehold Boro for $883.00.  Michael was processed and turned over to Union Beach PD in default of bail.  Ptl. Jean Letts made the arrest. 

 15MN21790 – Identity Theft

 On August 10, 2015 at approximately 7:20 pm, a 51 year old female Manalapan resident responded to police headquarters and reported that an unknown subject utilized her personal information to obtain a replacement cell phone on her account via Verizon Wireless’ insurance company.  The claim was made on July 29,, 2015 and the phone was shipped to an address in Jamaica, New York.  The case is pending further investigation.  Ptl. Edward Hedden handled the report. 

 15MN21787 – Fraud

 On August 10, 2015, at approximately 6:25 pm, a 67 year old white female Manalapan resident reported an unknown actor is using her Temporary NJ vehicle registration number. The victim reported an unknown actor is going through tolls on the turnpike and is accumulating fines at her expense. The victim reported to have approximately $646.45 in fines. Ptl. Christopher Makwinski handled the report. 

 15MN21786 – Theft

 On August 10, 2015 at approximately 6:20 pm, Ptl. Matthew Mattia responded to Target for a report of an employee who was processing video game gift cards without paying for them.  After an internal investigation by Target it was discovered that an employee, a 20 year old black male Old Bridge, NJ resident was found to have unlawfully removed $160.00 worth of the gaming cards on three occasions in July and August 2015.  The employee was terminated and criminal charges are pending.  Ptl. Matthew Mattia handled the incident

 15MN21771 – Warrant Arrest

 On August 10, 2015 at approximately 4:00 pm, Darya M. Lerman, a white 51 year old female health aid, resident of Manalapan turned herself in on an outstanding traffic warrant for $240.00.  Lerman posted bail with the Manalapan Township Municipal Court, was processed and released. Ptl. Matthew Mattia handled the arrest. 

 15MN21769 – Warrant Arrest

 On August 10, 2015 at approximately 3:30 pm, Latif Harris, a black 39 year old self employed male resident of Manalapan turned himself in on an outstanding traffic warrant for $290.00. Latif posted bail with the Manalapan Township Municipal Court, was processed and released. Ptl. Christopher Makwinski handled the arrest. 

 15MN21768 Warrant Arrest

 On August 10, 2015 at 2:56 pm, Valentino Cavallaro, 50 year old white male Manalapan resident, who is employed as a restaurant manager, turned himself in on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Marlboro Twp. in the amount of $439.00. After being processed and posting bail, Valentino was released. Ptl. Reginald Grant handled this arrest. 

 15MN21766 Assault

 On August 10, 2015 at 2:37pm, Officer Ross Dessel responded to headquarters for a simple assault report. The victim (a 54-year-old white female and resident of Manalapan) reported that she was assaulted, along with her husband (57-year-old white male, Manalapan resident) while at the Battleground Country Club at approximately 10:00pm on Saturday, August 8th. The victim related that the suspect (a 43-year-old white female, Manalapan resident) threw an alcoholic beverage on the victim’s blouse.  She further reports that her husband was struck in the face by the suspect’s husband (a 47-year-old white male, Manalapan resident).  Officer Ross Dessel handled the report.  

 15MN21761 - Warrant Arrest

 On August 10, 2015 at approximately 2:07 pm, Carey Smith III, a 27 year old white male resident of Manalapan NJ, who is bar back, turned himself in on a warrant out of Ocean Twp. in the amount of $90.00.  Mr. Smith posted bail and was released.  Ptl. Kevin Ruditsky handled the arrest. 

 15MN21754 - Warrant Arrest

 On August 10, 2015, at approximately 12:41 pm, Sukhrob Makhkamov, a 23 year old white male resident of Parlin, NJ, who is unemployed, turned himself in on a outstanding warrant out of Manalapan in the amount of $304.00. After being processed, Sukhrob posted bail and was released. Ptl. Reginald Grant handled this arrest.

 15MN21741 Warrant Arrest

 On August 10, 2015 at approximately 11:30 am, Kyle Majewski, a 22 year old white male resident of South River, who is a food service employee, turned himself in on a warrant out of South River in the amount of $164.00.  Mr. Majewski posted bail and was released.  Ptl. Ross Dessel handled the arrest.

 15MN21141 – Suspect Arrested for Numerous Vehicle Burglaries and Thefts

A two month long, (June-July) multi-jurisdictional investigation into numerous landscape equipment thefts throughout Monmouth County ended with arrest of Jose Tavarez of Hillside NJ (former Freehold Boro resident).  Tavaraz is a 26 year old unemployed Hispanic male. 

From mid June through the end of July, numerous landscape companies were reporting theft from their landscape trailers, as they were working on customer’s properties in Monmouth County.  In mid July, Manalapan Detectives identified Tavaraz as the suspect.

Attempts to locate Tavarez were unsuccessful until, in the early morning hours of August 4th, 2015.  A resident of the Covered Bridge development alerted police when he heard a car alarm go off across from his residence.  The resident observed a male subject leaving the area of the alarm and fled the scene.  The resident provided police with a suspect and suspect vehicle description. 

A short time later, patrols located the vehicle in the Wawa parking lot on Union Hill Rd.  The suspect was later identified as Jose Tavarez.   Tavarez had outstanding warrants from Old Bride and Howell Townships and was subsequently arrested.  

The multi-agency investigations lead detectives from Manalapan, Marlboro, Colts Neck and Holmdel to charge Tavarez with multiple counts of burglary and thefts of landscape equipment.  Tavarez was also charged with multiple counts of burglary and thefts to vehicles in Manalapan Township.  Vehicle burglary proceeds were recovered from Tavarez’s vehicle.  Tavarez was later remanded to jail on bail in access of $100,000.00.  This case is pending court. 

 15MN21643 – Theft of Property

 On Sunday August 9, 2015, at approximately 6:11am, Ptl. Jared Coupland responded to Heather Drive in reference to theft of property.  A 28 year old Asian female, Manalapan resident, reported that unknown actor(s) removed a life sized, realistic looking tiger statue, valued at $1,200.00, from the front yard of a residence.  Anyone with information in reference to this active investigation is encouraged to contact the Manalapan Township Police Department.  Patrolman Jared Coupland handled the investigation. 

 15MN21627- Warrant Arrest

 On Sunday August 9, 2015, at approximately 1:32 am, Brianna Kinsey, 20 year old black female employed in shipping, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation.  Investigation revealed Kinsey to have a traffic warrant out of Hazlet for $500 and a traffic warrant out of Keansburg for $150.00.  Kinsey was placed under arrest.  She was processed and lodged in Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of bail.  Ptl. Matthew Porricelli handled the arrest. 

  15MN21587-Possession of Marijuana

 On Saturday August 8, 2015 at approximately 6:20pm Ptl. Bart Mattaliano conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Pension Road and Ronald Court.  While on the stop the driver Felix Rivera (26 year old, Hispanic, male Philadelphia resident) was found to be operating a vehicle while in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.  Rivera was arrested, processed and released on a summons. Case is pending court. Ptl. Bart Mattaliano handled the arrest. 

 15MN21592 - Warrant Arrest

 On Saturday August 8, 2015, Abraham Avila, a 53 year old Hispanic male Philadelphia resident, unemployed, was found to have two outstanding traffic warrants for $1,000 out of Palmyra, NJ and $600 out of Elk, NJ.  He was processed and released following being released on his own recognizance out of Palmyra and posting bail out of Elk.  Ptl. Jared Coupland handled the arrest.  

 15MN21498 – Fraud

 On 08/07/2015 at approximately 8:12 PM, a 62 year old, white female, Manalapan resident reported fraudulent activity on her credit card.  The Manalapan resident related her “Groupon” account was accessed and used to fraudulently purchase items totaling at $152.14.  The initial investigation is being handled by Ptl. Chris Oleksy.  Any persons with similar fraudulent activity are encouraged to contact this agency. 

 15MN21484 – Burglary, Criminal Trespass & Theft Arrest

 On August 7, 2015 at approximately 4:50 pm, Kristijan Zrno, a white male, unemployed Freehold Boro resident, was arrested after entering a residence through an unlocked door on Iron Ore Road and stealing various jewelry, coins and cash valued at $634.04.  Zrno fled from the residence after the homeowner returned home and confronted him inside.  Responding patrol officers were able to locate Zrno who was still in the area, at which time he was arrested and charged with burglary, criminal trespass and theft.  He was remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $41,500.00 bail.  The investigation was handled by Ptl. Matthew Meyler and Ptl. Bryan Belardo, assisted by Sgt. Maggie Freeman, Ptl. Bart Mattaliano and Ptl. Jared Coupland.    

 15MN21483- Theft of Property

 On August 7, 2015 at approximately 4:50PM, a 40 year old white male resident of Manalapan Township, unknown employment responded to headquarters to report a theft of jewelry worth $670.00.  The victim related he purchased jewelry on E-bay and upon receiving the package in the mail he came to find the package empty. The victim also noted the package was not opened prior to delivery. Ptl. Matt Porricelli handled the report.

 15MN21456- Warrant Arrest

 On August 7, 2015 at 2:05PM, Larry Brown, a 36 year old, black male, resident of Howell, currently employed as a construction worker, turned himself in for a $228 Traffic Warrant out of Manalapan. Brown posted bail, was processed, and released. Ptl. Mark Casagrande handled the arrest.

 15MN21432-Criminal Mischief

 On August 7, 2015 at 8:15am the victim, a 42 year old white female Manalapan resident, reported that an unknown actor(s) damaged her pool sometime during the overnight hours of 08-06-15 to 08-07-15.   The incident was handled by Ptl. Jeff Emslie. 

 15MN21424- Possession of Marijuana & Drug Paraphernalia

 On August 7, 2015 at 12:35AM, Ptl. Joseph DeFilippis conducted a motor vehicle stop on Old Queens Blvd near Pease Road for motor vehicle violations. Investigation determined the driver, identified as Megan Greene, a 22 year old white female from Manalapan, employed as a chef, and the passenger identified as Jillian Welch, a 23 year old white female from Manalapan, employed as an insurance agent, were in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. Subjects were released on summonses and have mandatory Manalapan Township Municipal Court dates. 

 15MN21412 – Warrant Arrest

 On Thursday, August 6, 2015, Michael J. Strippoli, a 53 year old white male Manalapan resident employed as an electrician, was found to have an outstanding warrant for $81 out of Lawrence Twp.  He was processed and released after posting bail.  Ptl. Matthew Mattia handled the arrest.

 15MN21394 – Fraud/Identity Theft  

 On August 6, 2015, at approximately 5:16pm a 68 year old white male Manalapan resident reported a fraudulent PayPal account was created in his name. According to the victim, an unknown actor created a PayPal Credit account in his name and purchased a Laptop in the amount of $500.00.  The fraudulent account was closed, and PayPal advised the Victim that he will not be responsible for the cost of the laptop. Any person who has any information in regards to this incident should contact this agency.  Ptl. Jared Coupland is handling the investigation. 

 15MN21328 – Warrant Arrest

 On Thursday, August 6, 2015, Thomas J Mccrea, a 35 year old, white male, unemployed, resident of Bloomfield NJ was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant for $1000 out of Manalapan Municipal Court. Mccrea was unable to post the $1000 bail, and was transferred to Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Ptl. Mark Casagrande handled the arrest. 

 15MN21261-Credit Card Fraud

 On Wednesday 08-05-15 at 2:20pm the victim, a 54-year-old white female Manalapan resident, responded to Manalapan Police Department to report credit card fraud.  She related that unknown actor(s) used her debit card info and made several unauthorized purchases totaling over $3,450.00.  The incident is under investigation by Ptl. Jeff Emslie

 15MN21241- Credit Card Fraud

 On Wednesday 08-05-15 at 10:06 am the victim, a 73-year-old white male Manalapan resident, responded to Manalapan Police Department to report credit card fraud.  He related that unknown actor(s) used his debit card info and made several unauthorized purchases totaling over $800.00.  The incident is under investigation by Ptl. Jeff Emslie. 

  15MN21157 – Warrant Arrest

 On Tuesday August 4, 2015 at 10:26 AM, Elaine Zarr a 62 year old, white female, from Freehold Boro NJ, who is currently unemployed, turned herself in on an active traffic warrant out of Manalapan, for $1,000. She posted bail, was processed, and released. Ptl. Mark Casagrande handled the arrest.  

 15MN21119 – Warrant Arrest

 On Monday, August 3, 2015 at approximately 9:56 PM, Ptl. Kevin McIntosh, and Ptl. Christopher Makwinski responded to the area of Blenheim Road for a report of suspicious subjects in the area. The subjects were located by patrols and identified. William Orlando a white unemployed male from Manalapan was found to have an outstanding traffic warrant for his arrest for $751.00 out of Millstone Twp. William was arrested and transported to Monmouth County Jail  by Patrolman Christopher Makwinski.

 15MN21103 - Harassment/ Criminal Mischief

 On Monday, August 3, 2015 at approximately 5:52 pm, a 50 year old white female Manalapan resident reported her neighbor; a 60 year old white Manalapan resident has been harassing her and purposely poisoning her landscaping on her property. The victim relates she observed her neighbor poison her landscaping. Ptl. Christopher Makwinski handled the report.  

 15MN21093 – Credit Card Fraud

 On Monday August 3, 2015 at approximately 4:30 pm, a 29 year old white male, Manalapan resident responded to headquarters to report that fraudulent charges were made with his bank debit card on 07/31/2015 and 08/31/2015.  Ptl. Matthew Mattia handled the report. 

15MN21004 – Warrant Arrest

 On Sunday August 2nd 2015 at approximately 5:00pm Ptl. Kyle Earley conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox for a moving violation. The driver, Chawn Givens, 30 year old black male self employed salesman Manalapan resident, was found to have an active traffic warrant from Hazlet for $751.00 and a suspended driver’s license. Mr. Givens was arrested, transported to headquarters where he was processed then released with one summons after posting full bail pending court. 

 15MN20989 – Theft

 On Sunday, August 02, 2015 at approximately 1:39pm, two victim’s (53 year old, white male, Manalapan resident and 58 year old, white female, Manalapan resident) responded to Manalapan Police Headquarters to report a theft.  The theft consisted of approximately $700.00 in cash being removed from their residence.  This case is pending a criminal complaint to be signed.  Ptl. Brian Schank handled the report.

15MN20896- Warrant Arrest

 On Saturday, August 01, 2015 at approximately 6:38pm, Ptl. Matt Porricelli was investigating a motor vehicle accident in the Applebee’s parking lot. During the investigation, it was established that there was a passenger in one of vehicle’s involved in the accident who left the scene. The passenger was located and identified as 25 year old Anthony K. Burgos, a black male salesman from Lakewood NJ.  Anthony was placed under arrest for an outstanding traffic warrant out of Howell, NJ for $500.00 and another warrant out of Belmar, NJ for $28.00.  Anthony was transported to headquarters and processed.  Anthony posted bail and was released with a pending court date in Howell.  Ptl. Matt Porricelli handled the arrest. 

 15MN20671 -  DWI

 On Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 5:41pm, Ptl. Aaron Abeles and Ptl. Anthony Cascella responded to the vicinity of 2 Shria Lane for the report of a suspicious vehicle stopped on the side of the road with a subject sleeping in it.  Karl Dantiz, a 39 year old white male, from Robbinsville, NJ, employed as a mason, was subsequently arrested for DWI.  Mr. Danitz was transported to police headquarters, processed and released pending a court date. 

 15MN10821 / 15MN11440 / 15MN14571 / 15MN14918 – Theft

 On Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 9:13pm Det. Dominick Donatelli, Jr. arrested and charged Lucio Morales-Rosas, a 31 year old white Hispanic male from Perth Amboy, NJ with four counts of theft of moveable property.

 The complaints were filed after an investigation was conducted in reference to multiple reports of an unknown actor removing multiple brass back flow preventers and water meters from the Knob Hill Development and the Meadow Creek Development. Investigation revealed that Mr. Morales-Rosas had been removing water meters and back flow valves in multiple jurisdictions in multiple counties. The arrest was made following Mr. Morales-Rosas’ arrest in Holmdel Township and Marlboro Township on similar charges.

 Det. Donatelli credited Det. Matt Menosky of the Holmdel Township Police Department, Det. Anthony Peterpaul of the Marlboro Township Police Department, Det. Dan Kanaley of the Plainsboro Township Police Department and Det. Ray Wetzel of the Cranbury Township Police Department for solving this case.  

 15MN20611-Warrant

 On Thursday July 30, 2015 at 11:00am Glenn R. Evans a 53 year old white male Jackson, NJ resident currently employed as a business owner turned himself in on an active warrant out of Marlboro Twp.  He posted $164.00 bail, was processed and released.  Incident was handled by Ptl. Jeff Emslie. 

 15MN20575  – Warrant Arrest

 On Thursday July 30, 2015 at approximately 8:10am, Ptl. Sean McCarthy responded to the area of Route 9 for a welfare check on a disabled vehicle.  During an investigation the driver, identified as Christopher Degrasse a 31 year old unemployed black male resident of New Brunswick, was placed under arrest for an active warrant out of Middlesex County for $2,979.75.  The passenger of the vehicle, identified as Kiahna Dade a 22 year old unemployed black female resident of Piscataway, was placed under arrest for an active warrant out of Elizabeth for $433.00, an active warrant out of Lawrence Township for $2,500.00, and an active warrant out of Woodbridge for $2,500.00.  Both subjects were transported to police headquarters and processed.  Degrasse was taken into custody by the Middlesex County Sheriffs Office and Dade was taken into custody by the Woodbridge Police Department.  The arrest was handled by Ptl. Sean McCarthy with the assistance of Ptl. Jeff Emslie.

15MN20534 – Warrant Arrest

On Wednesday July 29th 2015 at approximately 8:40pm, Ptl. Adam Sosnowski was investigating a suspicious person and a parking violation at the WaWa on Union Hill Road.  The suspicious person, later identified as Justin Annarumma who is a 27 year old white male of Manalapan employed as a deck hand, was found to be suspended and had parked his vehicle in the handicapped parking space.  Mr. Annarumma also had three outstanding traffic warrants; two out of Manalapan Township for $454.00, $290.00 and $164.00 respectively and one out of Freehold Township for $154.00.  Mr. Annarumma was arrested and processed.  He posted bail and signed the bail waivers for all three warrants.  Mr. Annarumma was issued four motor vehicle and then he was released. 

 15MN20489- Simple Assault

 On Wednesday July 29th 2015 at approximately 2:30pm, Ptl. Mark Casagrande responded to Edwards Lane reference to a landscaper who was assaulted by an 63 year old Manalapan resident. The victim is a 33 year old, white male, of Grass Valley CA. The assault occurred due to the landscaper mowing too close to the suspect’s fence. This case is pending complaints. Ptl. Mark Casagrande handled the investigation. 

 15MN20441 – Warrant Arrest

 On Wednesday July 29, 2015 at 11:19 AM, Jose A Roman a 30 year old, Hispanic male, from Brooklyn NY, currently employed as a taxi driver turned himself in on two active warrants out of Manalapan, one active traffic warrant for $500 and one active criminal warrant for $500. Jose was processed and released after posting full bail. Ptl. Mark Casagrande handled the arrest.

 15MN2438 – Warrant Arrest

 On Wednesday July 29th 2015 at approximately 11:00am, Ptl. Adam Sosnowski conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 North near Covered Bridge Blvd for a random registration check that revealed the registered owner had outstanding warrants. The driver, Anthony Tucceri, a 30 year old white male of South Plainfield employed as a construction worker, was found to have two active criminal warrants and one active traffic warrant.  The criminal warrants were both out of Piscataway totaling $750.00  and the traffic warrant was out of Neptune City for $200.00. Mr. Tucceri was arrested and his vehicle was impounded.  Mr. Tucceri was transported to headquarters and processed where he posted bail for the Neptune warrant and was released on his own recognizance for the Piscataway warrants.  Mr. Tucceri was issued one motor vehicle summons for Uninsured Motor Vehicle with a court mandatory court date in Manalapan Township Municipal Court. 

 15MN20418 – Warrant Arrest

 On Wednesday July 29, 2015 at approximately 8:33 AM, Sang Yong Lee a 59 year old, Asian male, Maryland resident who is self employed turned himself in on an active traffic warrant from this jurisdiction for $215.00.  Sang was processed, posted full bail and was released without incident.  Ptl. Chris Oleksy handled the arrest. 

 15MN20385- Warrant Arrest

 On Tuesday July 28, at approximately 8:06pm, 35 year old Christopher Cavallo, a white male Manalapan resident who is employed as a laborer, turned himself in on an outstanding bench warrant from the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey. Christopher was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute for violating conditions of probation. Ptl. Matt Porricelli handled the arrest. 

 15MN20335 – Warrant Arrest

 On Tuesday July 28, 2015 at approximately 1:57 PM, Gabrielle A Melamudov (a 21-year-old, white female, self employed Freehold Boro resident) turned herself in on an outstanding warrant out of this jurisdiction for $164.00.  Gabrielle was processed as per department policy and released after posting full bail.  Ptl. Chris Oleksy handled the arrest.  RH129

 15MN20345-Warrant Arrest

 On Tuesday July 28, at 2:46 pm patrols responded to the area of Rt. 9 and Briar Hill Drive for a report of suspicious subjects working in the area.  Investigation revealed that one of the suspects, John C. Rocha, a 44 year old Hispanic male from Staten Island NY currently employed as a delivery driver, had three active warrants out of three municipalities in New Jersey totaling $417.00.  He was placed under arrest, processed and released after posting bail.  Arrest was made by Ptl. Jeff Emslie. 

 15MN20262 – Warrant Arrest

 On Monday July 27th 2015 at approximately 11:40pm, Ptl. Kyle Earley conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 near Pegasus on a 2012 GMC Van after observing a moving violation. The driver, Cesar Alameda, a 24 year old Hispanic male, from Easton, PA employed as a janitor, was found to have an active traffic warrant for $89 from Readington Township. Mr. Alameda was arrested by Ptl. Kyle Earley, transported to headquarters where he was processed, then released after posting full bail. Mr. Alameda was given a new court date. 

 15MN20248- Criminal Mischief

 On Monday July 27, 2015 at approximately 7:49pm, Ptl Matt Porricelli responded to the area of Burke Street for a report of vandalism to the side walk. Profanity was observed to be written on the side walk in red spray paint. The incident was documented, and anyone with information is asked to contact Ptl Porricelli at Police Headquarters, 732-446-4300. 

 15MN20080- Warrant Arrest

 On July 25, 2015, at 7:33 PM, Casey Liam, a 40 year old white male resident of Manalapan, was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant out of Manalapan Municipal Court.  Liam posted $146 cash bail and was released.  Arrest handled by Ptl. Edward Hedden. 

 15MN20059   Warrant Arrest

 On July 25, 2015 at 2:37PM, Maureen Roberts, a 58 year old, white female, unemployed, resident of Old Bridge was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant out of Manalapan Township. Roberts was unable to post the $380 warrant and was transferred to Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Ptl. Mark Casagrande handled the arrest.  

 15MN20035- Attempted Burglary

 On Saturday July 25, 2015 at approximately 10:45 am, Patrolman John Lightbody responded to a residence on Westbrook Way for a report of an attempted burglary.  The victim, a 49-year-old white male Manalapan resident, reported that sometime between Thursday July 23 and Saturday July 25, unknown actor(s) attempted to gain entry to his residence by forcing open the garage door.  Access was not gained to the residence and no items were taken from the residence.  If anyone has any information regarding this incident they are encouraged to contact the Manalapan Township Police Department.  Patrolman John Lightbody handled the report. 

 15MN20007- Driving While Intoxicated

On Saturday July 25, 2015 at approximately 1:20 am, Patrolman Philip Accatatta conducted a motor vehicle stop on Gordons Corner Road after observing several motor vehicle violations. The operator was identified as Joseph M Dickey Jr. (45-year-old white male, Keansburg resident employed as a carpenter). Dickey was found to be driving while intoxicated. Dickey was arrested, processed, and later released from police custody pending a court date to appear.
