FIREARMS AND
FINGERPRINTING UNIT
In 2006,
Identification Officer Alan Hahn announced his retirement and
began to train his replacement, Anthony Pompeo. Officer Hahn is
leaving this department after 25 years of employment but has
agreed to remain available as a consultant. The Firearms and
Fingerprinting Unit was responsible for processing over 60
firearm’s permit applications in 2006. Subsequently, upon
completion of a very extensive, state-mandated investigation,
one of these applications was rejected.
