Uniform Crime Report

The department is required by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to compile crime statistic on eight offenses as follows:

• Murder
• Robbery
• Forcible Rape
• Aggravated Assault
• Burglary, Larceny
• Motor Vehicle Theft
• Arson

That information is usually published by the fifteenth of the month for the preceding month.
