Uniform Crime Report
The department is required by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to compile crime statistics on eight offenses as follows: Murder, Robbery, Forcible Rape, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, Larceny, Motor Vehicle Theft, and Arson.
That information is usually published by the fifteenth of the month for the preceding month.
