ALERT  ALERT  ALERT    ALERT

Two Manalapan senior citizens have now been targeted since December of 2009 by unknown individuals claiming to be their grandsons.  In both incidents, these impersonators requested that their "grandmothers" wire bail money to Canada so they could be released from jail.  Residents receiving calls of this nature should proceed very carefully and verify all information with family members prior to arranging for the transfer of money.  Report these incidents immediately to the Manalapan Police at 732-446-4300.
